I won’t buy another Green drive, that’s for sure. Look at the free or trial alternatives and similar apps to HDAT2 software by the tags. I did said do a quick backup by meaning stuff and then asap write zero.

They certainly are cheaper than Black but more expensive than Green. Yes, Seagate has had issues in the past, and the earlier STDM’s weren’t brilliant either, but I believe they are better now.
